About this whole... 'gratitude' thing. Apparently there's a good number of folks around who have no issue with showing it whatsoever! Man. That must be nice. It's taken Kyrie a fair bit more time than it had Caramia to get everything sorted, but when you have to wait for not just the right moment, but for nature to play along as well--not to mention the distractions provided by way of mirrors, chills, and the mental fucking olympics he's always running--it's bound to take more than a few days' time.
And so as expected, a few days later, he's quick to take advantage of the opportunity that presents itself. A visit early in the morning ensures that everything is as it should be, and although he busies himself as usual throughout the day, he eventually falls silent as he watches the sky outside the window, mindful of the sun's position all the while. It's only once the faintest shades of evening begin to threaten the dull greys of the afternoon that he pushes himself away from the sill to retrieve his hat from the table.
"Caramia." His voice is light and even, just loud enough for Caramia to hear. "We're going out."
There's a note of finality to his words that says it would be in his best interests to not argue. Just?? You know, go along with it and ask questions along the way.
